Vrnjacka Banja is situated in Central Serbia, on North slopes of mountain Goc in West Morava’s valley, on 227 m above the sea level. It is surrounded by extraordinary beauty, which is the key of a specific microclimate of this place during the whole year. Vrnjacka Banja is only 200 km away from Belgrade. Two rivers run through Vrnjacka Banja: Lipovacka river and Vrnjacka river. The Queen of Spa Tourism, as it is locally known, is indeed a special place in Serbia.
It has been recognized and appreciated for numerous historic localities and healing waters spring for centuries, from time of Celts, later on during Roman and Byzantine Empires. Vrnjacka Banja is an authentic spa’s centre , rich with numerous architectural buildings , it encompasses a small territory that is populated only by a few dozen of inhabitants. Hotel Zepter with its recognizable style is one of Vrnjacka Banja’s symbols.
The Banja possesses many springs of hot and cold water. There are even seven springs and they are used for different diseases treatments: diabetes, gastric urinary tracts diseases, rheumatic diseases, posttraumatic ailments, regenerative and postoperative conditions…
