Villa Drina, with its position on two rivers, really provides a fantastic choice for a holiday that you will not forget. Simply furnished rooms, bright and comfortable, give you the opportunity to restore your energy in a short time, Famous restaurant "Vrelo” located in an idyllic setting over the waterfall of the river of the same name has everything that even the most demanding gourmands would like.
Villa Drina is tucked into the lush greenery of Perućac, 13 km upstream from Bajina Bašta, at the foot of Tara Mountain. It is located in the embrace of two rivers - Vrelo and Drina - both at the distance from the Villa of just twenty meters. At that point, the waterfall of the Vrelo River, the shortest river in Europe, only 365 meters long, which is why it is also called the Year River, crushes into the Drina by making a magnificent waterfall. From this magical place, guests have unforgettable memories of a refreshing stay and a healthy sleep with the roar of the waterfall.
The building, with its basic architectural physiognomy, easily locates itself in the period before the Second World War, as, for this space and for that time, a luxurious house in a small town. It was built by Miloš Rajaković, a local landowner and trader. Near the Villa, there is a mini-hydroelectric power plant, on waterfalls, built in 1927, which is still in operation.
The luxurious Villa, built between the two world wars, has recently been completely renovated and converted into a modern hotel with 15 rooms, with the latest equipment and infrastructure, and is a real jewel on the tourist map of Serbia.
In the reconstruction, the original spirit of the house has not been lost at all, only technical solutions - equipment of rooms and other spaces – have been put up to the modern catering level. From Villa to west, there is a lake Perućac with incredible natural ambiences, because of which the whole of this region along the Drina was recently proclaimed "number one miracle of nature in Serbia".
All accommodation units in the Villa are equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, TV sets, phones and free wi-fi.
Although the Villa has its own restaurant hall with 40 seats, where smaller seminars and conferences are held, it includes also a nearby restaurant Vrelo with one of the most beautiful terraces on the waterfall, with a capacity of 200 seats, of which 140 are in the hall itself and 60 covered seats are on the terrace, in a natural environment rich in water currents, waterfalls, an atmosphere that no interior could match, especially not in the summer months when the freshness and the sound of the water are direct. The restaurant's garden is a real salvation from high temperatures. The restaurant is suitable for organizing all kinds of celebrations and festivities.
